Our drummer, Dan, has been hard at work building a new website, www.newmusictracker.com . It’s a handy site that compiles information on new CDs as they are released. (Fans of The Reverse Engineers should definitely check out Porcupine Tree’s new release.) Not only is it a great way to keep your CD collection current, but a portion of every Amazon sale that it generates will go into a fund to help us record our next CD. Mercury in Retrograde Video
A few weeks ago, we booked time at a big TV studio, and video taped the band playing Mercury in Retrograde against a blue screen. Felt like we should be having light sabre duels… It’ll be fun to see what happens once we drop in the 60’s-era space footage behind it. Here’s a picture of Charles at the shoot:
Which reminds me, Chuck has received a bunch of fan mail for his playing… here’s a sample: "I’ve been a big RUSH fan since I was 15 or so… and one thing I’ve missed for a long time with Rush is the sound Geddy used to get with his Rickenbackers; I must say Charles your sound, while being uniquely your own, rekindles many old sonic memories." — D.
